The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has continued to be active in its training events in the Asia region, with “Member” and “Fellowship” assessments having been carried out in Hong Kong, Manila, and Bangkok in the last 3 months. Anthony Houghton SC has been the Course Director for each of these assessment courses, in which a total of over 70 people have taken part, carrying responsibility for quality control and ensuring that consistent standards are applied in the assessments.
The Accelerated Route to Membership programme covers the law underpinning the process, and procedure of, arbitration, and is therefore suitable for anyone who is conversant with the law and practice of International Arbitration. The two-day Accelerated Fellowship programme focuses more intensively on the process, practice and procedures of arbitration.
