José Maurellet SC Invited to Teach at University of Chicago Law School Executive Education Program

The University of Chicago Law School Executive Education Program on Global Insolvency will take place at the University’s Hong Kong Campus from 3 to 5 August 2026. This three‑day program will convene experts from the judiciary, academia, and legal practice to examine recent developments and practical challenges in cross‑border insolvency and restructuring.

Faculty and instructors include Professor Anthony Casey, Donald M. Ephraim Professor of Law and Economics at The University of Chicago Law School, the Honourable Madam Justice Linda Chan, Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court of Hong Kong, the Honourable Chris Lopez, Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, the Southern District of Texas, Mr José Maurellet SC, Senior Counsel at Des Voeux Chambers, and Mr Scott Atkins, Global Head of Restructuring at Norton Rose Fulbright Australia.
