DVC enjoys a strong offshore presence, with a number of counsel being admitted to foreign bars on both ongoing and ad hoc bases. This includes not only traditional offshore jurisdictions such as the British Virgin Islands, but also emerging dispute resolution centres such as Singapore, Dubai and Astana in Kazakhstan.

In addition to acting in foreign litigation, DVC barristers are often instructed to appear in arbitrations with an offshore component, and to provide Hong Kong legal opinion in support of foreign proceedings.
