In a recent CPD seminar titled “Competition Law Issues in Sales and Distribution” co-organized by Deacons and Des Voeux Chambers on 12 October 2023, Catrina Lam from Des Voeux Chambers together with Machiuanna Chu, Partner at Deacons, and Sharon Pang, Principal Economist at Deacons, shared their insights on potential competition law concerns arising from resale price maintenance (RPM) and most favoured nation (MFN) clauses, including a discussion on the ECJ’s recent ruling in Super Bock and the CMA’s judgment on CompareTheMarket.
