Winnie Tam SC is honoured to have been appointed an Honorary Advisor of the International Trade Bar of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association (深圳律协国际贸易法律专业委员会).
The International Trade Bar is one of the 66 Professional Committees established under the Shenzhen Lawyer Association, with the purpose of providing learning and social interaction opportunities for lawyers from Shenzhen, as well as guiding their professional practices. The International Trade Bar is set up to help Shenzhen Lawyers to promote legal professional knowledge, improve expertise and services, expand practice areas, facilitate specialization, and enhance the overall professional strength.
The announcement of the appointment was made at the conclusion of an oversubscribed online seminar on a comparative view of international arbitration practice attended by over 100 lawyers from all over China. Winnie has long been a friend of the SZLA, a regular speaker in seminars hosted by its committees.
