Profile

Regina is a Middle Temple Scholar. She joined Chambers in 2024 following completion of pupillage with Mr Joseph Tse SC, Mr Christopher Chain SC, Mr Jason Yu and Mr Kerby Lau. 

Regina is developing a broad civil practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. Whilst in her first year of practice, Regina has been instructed to appear as a led advocate before the Court of Appeal and in High Court trials, and as a sole advocate in various substantive applications before the High Court and the District Court. 

Prior to joining Chambers, Regina ranked first overall in her LLB class at University College London. She then obtained the BCL from the University of Oxford. During her studies, she was awarded multiple academic prizes and scholarships, including the Andrews Medal & Prize (for the top graduate), Sweet & Maxwell Prize (for the top finalist), the DVC BCL Scholarship and the DVC Harry Liu Postgraduate Scholarship.

Regina is also appointed as a part-time lecturer (non-clinical) at the University of Hong Kong teaching Equity and Trusts.

  • Lam Sau Ha Annie v Lam Chun Sing [2024] HKDC 2011 (DCMP 128/2022) – leave to appeal concerning writs of execution (as sole counsel)

  • Ng Nim Chung, deceased v Ng Wing Man Terry
    • [2024] 4 HKLRD 1 – appeal against the setting aside of post-trial judgment given in the absence of the defendant; Order 35 rule 2 of the Rules of the High Court (Cap 4A) (with Mr Kerby Lau)
    • HCA 2221/2016 – re-trial involving claims for common intention constructive trust, resulting trust, and unjust enrichment (with Mr Kerby Lau)

  • Re China Evergrande Group (in liquidation) (HCCW 220/2022) – acted for the Official Receiver in the liquidators’ application for court directions on committee of inspection, including membership eligibility (led by Dr William Wong SC)
  • Re Fameway Finance [2025] HKCFI 1477 – winding-up application (with Mr Jason Yu)
  • Re To Yuk Fung [2024] HKCFI 3565 – application for suspension of automatic discharge of bankruptcy (with Mr Jason Yu)
  • Re Poon Sum HCB 7213/2019 – application for suspension of automatic discharge of bankruptcy (with Mr Jason Yu)

    • Application for a carry-on order where proceedings were first commenced by the petitioner in the capacity of the committee of a mentally incapacitated person who then passed away (as sole counsel)
