Terri is developing a broad practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. Terri is regularly instructed to appear as sole advocate or as a led junior, and has been involved in cases concerning probate and trusts, commercial law, property disputes, fraud and family matters. She has experience in interlocutory applications, including urgent ex parte relief.
Terri completed her pupillage with Derek Chan SC, Christopher Chain SC, Connie Lee and Jason Yu. She also served as a Marshall in the Family Court for Her Honour Judge Melloy and an extended pupillage with Thelma Kwan (now Her Honour Judge Kwan in the Family Court), before joining DVC in 2021.
She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge where she obtained her BA in law and her LL.M. with First Class Honours in all her subjects, which included Family Law and Restitution.
Outside of her busy practice, Terri is a member of the HKBA’s Committee on Family Law (CFamL), and lectures the Legal Research course of the JD Programme for the University of Hong Kong.
