24 Nov 2025

Organised by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and hosted by the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), the first session of the National Training Programme for Foreign-Related Arbitration Talents concluded in Beijing last week. The programme brought together 260 legal professionals from across the country, including lawyers, in-house counsel, and arbitration specialists.

DVC members Connie Lee and Jacqueline Law were honoured to be invited by the MoJ to coach the moot arbitration teams, joining other distinguished legal professionals and arbitration experts from Hong Kong SAR and the Chinese mainland. In the week leading up to the moot, Connie and Jacqueline delivered structured online coaching to the participating teams. On the day of the moot, they served as arbitrators, providing professional and constructive feedback informed by their extensive experience in international arbitration practice.

We are grateful to the MoJ for the opportunity to contribute to this national training initiative. It was a privilege to engage with fellow practitioners and to share insights on international dispute resolution.
