Calvin Cheuk SC from Des Voeux Chambers was called to the Inner Bar at the Ceremony for the Admission of Senior Counsel on Saturday, 16 May 2026, at the Court of Final Appeal.
The Honourable Chief Justice Andrew Cheung presided over the proceedings and welcomed the newly appointed silks.
Calvin is widely recognised for his excellence in construction law. He has represented both domestic and international clients in complex infrastructure, energy, and construction projects throughout Asia. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Committee on Construction Law of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
With Calvin joining the Inner Bar, DVC is now home to 25 Senior Counsel and King’s Counsel, underscoring our ongoing dedication to excellence in the legal profession.
