The discussion focused on critical strategies across various stages of the dispute resolution process, offering young professionals a valuable opportunity to sharpen their strategic legal skills in a dynamic global context.

Vera He, Deputy Director of ICC Arbitration and ADR for North Asia at ICC Dispute Resolution Services, opened the event with warm welcoming remarks. The panel featured distinguished speakers including Wendy Kwan (Associate, Loeb & Loeb LLP); Ling Luo (General Counsel, TAL Education Group); Ben Wang (General Counsel of Litigation, Douyin Group); and Cherry Xu (Barrister, Des Voeux Chambers). The session was moderated by Nicole (Yiduo) Gong, ICC YAAF Representative for North Asia and Partner at Global Law Office.

Drawing on landmark cases, Cherry provided a detailed analysis of key interim measures and enforcement options frequently used in Hong Kong, such as Mareva injunctions and disclosure orders, highlighting their application thresholds and procedural requirements. She also offered an overview of Hong Kong’s enforcement mechanisms, outlining the relevant legal principles and practical pathways most commonly followed.

As ICC YAAF Representative for North Asia, Ellen Pang delivered the closing remarks. The event brought together a diverse regional audience and offered practical insights into navigating the complexities of global dispute resolution.
