Last Sunday, Ling Chun Wai and Kwan Ping Kan of Des Voeux Chambers was invited to deliver a talk at the University of Hong Kong to a group of eminent PRC lawyers from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha, Zhongshan and Zhuhai. Together with Sam Wong, they outlined differences and interactions between litigation, arbitration and mediation in international disputes and how to establish or challenge arbitral tribunal jurisdiction in international arbitration. They also shared their insights on the recent developments in international commercial arbitration.
