Des Voeux Chambers, the Hong Kong Family Law Association and the International Professional Family Law Association are pleased to present their joint seminar, “Recent Developments in Family Arbitration & Trust Arbitration”, on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at Des Voeux Chambers.
The seminar will open with a keynote address by the Rt Hon the Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, GBS, at 6.00 pm. A panel discussion will follow from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, moderated by Professor Anselmo Reyes SC, with Mr Stuart Isaacs KC, Professor Kelvin Low and Ms Corinne Remedios.
The programme will examine current developments in family and trust arbitration, drawing on case law and legislative approaches in other jurisdictions. Topics will include the scope for arbitration of family and trust disputes, the position of beneficiaries and other non-signatories, confidentiality and disclosure, court supervision, and the recognition and enforcement of awards.
This joint event brings together practitioners and specialists from the family, trust and arbitration fields to consider the possible development of these areas in Hong Kong.
