On June 17, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) launched a national training programme for foreign-related disputes in Shenzhen.
William Wong SC from Des Voeux Chambers was invited by the MoJ to deliver a lecture on “Hong Kong Case Law and International Dispute Resolution Mechanisms”. In his talk, William provided an in-depth introduction of the common law system in Hong Kong, its application, and strategic advantages. He also offered a comprehensive overview of international dispute resolution pathways, exploring both their benefits and challenges. The session was met with great enthusiasm and engagement from the audience.
DVC member Stephanie Wong also attended the training programme, alongside over 300 lawyers from across the country.
Grateful to the MoJ for the invitation to take part in this national training initiative. It was a pleasure to engage with fellow legal practitioners and share insights on international dispute resolution.
