Effective on February 1st 2022, DVC’s Rachel Lam SC was re-appointed and Sabrina Ho was appointed as a new member of the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform (SCCLR.)
Johnny Mok SC has been the Chairman of the (SCCLR) since 2021.
The SCCLR advises the Financial Secretary on amendments to the Companies Ordinance and the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance as well as amendments to the Securities and Futures Ordinance on matters relating to governance and shareholders’ protection, as and when necessary.
