HKIAC and Fudan University jointly organized a public course on international arbitration (2023 Fall) last month in Shanghai. Sabrina Ho from Des Voeux Chambers joined the Mock Arbitration held on 25 October and acted as the coach for the respondent, with Anthony Chan SC from Temple Chambers acting as the coach for the claimant. Sanqiao Xu, Senior Counsel of Yi & Partners, Jia Si, Independent arbitrator, and Kelvin Chen, Partner of DLA Piper formed the tribunal. Hongmin Yao, Deputy Secretary-General of 上海国际仲裁中心-Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Kun Jia, Secretary-General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Shanghai, Yu Li, General Counsel of 上海仲裁委员会 Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Jingjing Chen, Partner of Haiwen & Partners, Henry Huang, Partner of Grandall Law Firm – People’s Republic of China, and Guanglei Zhang, Partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng participated in the event and gave comments on the performance of the mooters.
